FRAMR. Cockpit - Version 95

 

Version 95 brings numerous improvements in the areas of security, data management, administration, and performance. In addition to the new Digital Blackboard module, the Data Editor, File Browser, and Ticket System have been significantly enhanced. This release also includes numerous bug fixes and further improves the overall stability of the system.

New Features & Improvements

 

Security

• Added multi-factor authentication (MFA) using authenticator apps.

Player & Automation

• Extended the CEC interface with additional general control commands.
• API calls can now be executed as automated player actions independently of playlists.
• Added selectable time ranges for player statistics graphs.
• Firmware updates are no longer offered if the player is already running a newer firmware version.

Digital Blackboard

• Added the new Digital Blackboard module.

Data Editor

• Completely redesigned user interface.
• Added search functionality within data lists.
• Data models and menu entries can now be copied directly.
• File fields can now be restricted to specific file types.
• Permissions can now be assigned per data model.

File Browser

• Uploaded files can now be assigned directly to groups.
• Added a group file browser for managing all files within a group.
• Files can now be replaced directly without losing existing references.

Map Editor

• Simplified the process of connecting waypoints.

Directory

• Search results now display the corresponding object type.
• Added additional filter options.
• Optimized the interface for 4K displays.

Virtual Display

• Added a local mouse cursor display.
• Optimized cursor size and rendering for 4K displays.
• Improved cursor responsiveness.

Ticket System

• Ticket calling now also supports long press and right-click.
• Disabled counters are excluded from statistics.
• Added statistics for average waiting and processing times.
• Added statistics by weekday and day of the month.
• Changes to system settings are now logged.

Performance

• Display statistics older than one year are automatically aggregated into daily statistics.
• Significantly improved the registration process (country selection with search).
• Improved the display of imported calendar events.

Bug Fixes

 

Player

• Fixed the Watchdog after removing a player.
• Fixed Token Screens being incorrectly reported as offline.
• Fixed multiple initialization of the first playlist.
• Fixed an endless loop caused by button actions with identical values.
• USB players no longer transmit statistics to the cloud while operating in USB mode.
• Correctly detects BrightSign OS versions starting with firmware 9.1.93.
• Reduced unnecessary write operations to player data.

User Interface

• Fixed group views for users with limited permissions.
• Newly uploaded fonts are now immediately available for selection after saving.
• Fixed the Task Manager pending status display.
• Fixed statistics export.

Data & Calendar

• Fixed errors when creating new data records in the Data Editor.
• Calendar imports now support additional time formats.
• Improved XML file processing.
• Fixed various issues related to date and time handling.

Notifications

• Fixed notifications for disconnected display cables.
• Improved reliability of playout error notifications and eliminated duplicate notifications.

Stability

• Numerous improvements to database access, background tasks, API processing, device management, logging, and error handling.
• Fixed various PHP warnings, database errors, and internal exceptions, further improving the overall stability and performance of FRAMR. Cockpit.
