Install FRAMR. Player APP on an Amazon FireTV-Device

With a prepared script, you can install the FRAMR. Player APP on your FireTV device and use it as a FRAMR. Player. Here are the steps to get started:

1. Download the Android SDK

• Visit the official website https://developer.android.com/ and download the latest Android SDK
• Unzip the downloaded file and open the (e.g., on Windows) "platform-tools-latest" directory
  

2. Download the Installation Script

• Download the FRAMR. installation script 🔗here
• Save the file in the "platform-tools-latest" directory
• The folder structure should now look like this (e.g., on Windows):

1. Enable ADB Debugging

• On your FireTV device, go to: Settings > My Fire TV > Developer Options
• Enable the ADB Debugging option

• If Developer Options are not visible: 
• Go to Settings > About
• Click the first entry five times to unlock Developer Options

2. Check Network Information

• Go to Settings > My Fire TV > About > Network
• Note down the IP address of your FireTV device

1. Run the file FRAMR_Install_FireTV.bat
2. Enter the noted IP address of your FireTV device
3. Confirm the "Allow USB Debugging" prompt on your FireTV device
4. The FRAMR. Player APP will be automatically installed and launched
5. Now you can start using you FRAMR. Player as usual!

The FRAMR. Player APP can be uninstalled from your FireTV device in two ways:

1. Uninstallation via Settings

• Open on your FireTV device: Settings > Applications > Manage Installed Applications > FRAMR. Player APP and select “Uninstall”

2. Uninstallation in-App

• While the FRAMR. Player APP is running on your FireTV device press "DOWN" on your remote
• Select “Uninstall”
