Device Playlist

Override the player’s current playlist and display a selected playlist independently of the schedule or assignment.

Reload Data

Reload all content and data on your player to fix playback issues or ensure the latest version from the cloud is applied.

Restart Device

Restart your FRAMR. player to resolve possible display, network, or connection issues and refresh the system.

Update Software

Install the latest FRAMR. software version to benefit from improvements and new features – your device will briefly restart during the process.

Start a VPN Remote Connection

Use Start VPN remote connection to instruct the FRAMR. Player to establish a VPN connection. This connection is used for extended remote features, such as VNC access, remote maintenance, or support cases where direct access to the player is required.

Use this feature only if you know the VPN credentials or if FRAMR. Support asks you to use it.

Requirements
  • The player must be online and able to receive commands from the Cockpit.
  • Your user account must be allowed to perform actions for this player.
  • The feature must be available in your license.
  • You need valid VPN credentials: server, username, and password.

Start the VPN connection

  1. Open the required group in the Cockpit.
  2. Select the player you want to connect to.
  3. Open the Actions section.
  4. Scroll to Start VPN remote connection.
  5. Select a saved VPN connection or choose New connection.
  6. Check the connection type. Currently, PPTP is available.
  7. Enter the Server, Username, and Password.
  8. Optionally enable Save VPN information if you want to reuse these credentials later.
  9. Click Connect to VPN.
The Cockpit then sends a connection request to the player. After the player processes the request, it establishes the VPN connection using the provided credentials.

Use saved VPN connections
If you enable Save VPN information, FRAMR. saves the connection as a personal preset in your user account. The next time you open this section, you can select the saved connection. The server, username, and password fields are filled automatically.
