Map layer

In your map editor, you can add a new layer by clicking on “Add Layer” in the layer editing mode. A new layer will now be added. To edit a layer, select the desired layer and click on “Edit Layer.”

In the window that opens, you can now edit the settings of the layer you are currently on.

Title: Name the current layer as desired.

Width: Enter the width of your layer in pixels.

Height: Enter the height of your layer in pixels.

Height above ground: Define the distance of this layer from the ground. The value should be entered in centimeters.

Example: A ground floor layer is at ground level and therefore has a distance of 0 cm from the ground. A basement with a ceiling height of five meters would be entered as -500 cm.

Template image: Here you can insert images that serve as a reference for creating the map. The template image is only visible in the editor.

Background: Here you can upload your image file for the map. This image will be visible as the background of the layer.
